Almond fried chicken....almost better than sex....if I would know
Although I am not a huge fan of Chinese fare it seems everyone in my circle prefers it and I am often eating it with my friends. My preference for Chinese restaurants is Chinese Gardens in Pasco, WA. Why? I prefer their combo selections to other Chinese restaurants and they deliver their wonderful food if you choose. The restaurant itself is clean and well lit in the evening time for dinner. The lunch hour is also very busy daily as this a popular place to eat. There is plenty of seating and the staff is friendly and on hand to ensure your meal is perfect along with your dining experience. There is a lounge that serves fantastic drinks at a decent price. I frequent this restaurant at least a dozen times a year and order delivery about half dozen that. This is a great option for dining in small or large numbers.
Lunch special are quick and good
Hands down the best place for Chinese Food in town. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. And while it may be a turnoff to some, I love that the inside decor hasn't changed since probably the 70's. It feels like you've gone through some timewarp and it makes eating their unique.
Great food. Huge selection we were picking up a load of potatoes down the road and decided to try some local food. They hooked it up. Def check them out
This place has the best chinese food. We always eat there when we are in Tri Cities. They have a wide selection of food, they revamped their menu, since we were there last and added more variety. They have the best Orange Chicken. I highly recommend it!
Not my kind of place but others must like it. I stopped by at lunch time and the phone didn't stop ringing with take out orders. The prawn are the diameter of a pencil and less than two inches long buried in the center of a tempura fried batter that is oily and the diameter of a fat thumb. Twice that tiny little prawn hidden in the middle fell out of its little hiding hole when I bit the tempura dough thing. Vegetables over crispy noodles and a semirigid mound of fried rice. I do not criticize anyone's taste in food. Many people may love this place. I personally will never return or recommend it.
Used to go here with my family as a little girl and Im so happy to see it is still wonderful to have dinner at.
Good food nice people would recommend now a family tradition.
I have seen this place about a million times, I decided to walk in and I was amazed by the level of detail in the décor. I loved it. The food was very good as well. I really couldn't get enough of the details so I really didn't eat much because I spent my time looking at every detail of the restaurant. It was so peaceful with the water fountain In the middle, the dimmed lights, and the quiet.
Great food. Amazing environment. The waitress was superb and very friendly.
In town for a conference, we really just needed food last night. Chinese Gardens was a treasure to stumble upon. One of the seemingly few remaining examples of that wonderful old-school American Chinese food that so many of us grew up with during the last century. Good food, great value, attentive staff, and wonderful atmosphere. We're probably going back tonight!
I really don't like to give bad reviews but, I was almost sad when entered to pick up my order. I remember when this place was top notch. Now it seems old, run down, and dirty. I will say the waitress was very friendly. I ordered take out and was a little irritated to realize I wasn't given any napkins or utensils to eat my food. There was a paper bag stapled shut that included soy, hot mustard, and a fortune cookie so stale that it tasted like mold. The food was not much better than the fortune cookie. It's a shame to see a place that was once so great become so bad.
This place is all original 1950s. Has a super cool vibe though even if old. Kitchen and bathroom have been updated and appear very clean. Very basic food and drinks menu but cheap too. Ordered a cocktail which was almost pure vodka. Serving sizes are huge. Long story short, they do not skimp on the servings. I recommend it. It’s a quiet getaway if you don’t want to be seen or need a place for a quiet meet up.
This is my favorote spot for chinese food, whether it's take out, delivery, or dine in! They are very generous with their portions so you get quite a but of food in one order and they also have like a homemade chili paste which is very good. I love their general chicken and chicken low mein those are probably my favorite but it was so hard to choose! It's all so good. They also have lunch specials Monday through Saturday I believe and they are great deals, especially if you want to try more than one dish!
I drive by this place all the time and I finally decided to go in and have lunch here by myself. The food was so tasty the environment is something you really don't see in the Tri-Cities. Lots of detail and really cool ambiance to the place. Plus a lunch special like one pictured below is only $7.95! With Soup and Tea! You can't beat that price! 😄 Will be back to eat here again!
Always great food, always great customer service, and love the beautiful dinning area.
The food was great this will definitely be our new place for Chinese. Also good service and good portion size,I know what's for lunch today...leftovers!
Great for delivery, amazing for dinning in. Amazing atmosphere inside matched perfectly with the quality of food.
The food was old the restaurant was crowded and I could barely eat anything I put on my plate. Spent way too much money for sub-par everything.
Again...food late on delivery and cold. I ordered for lunch....wouldn't expect it to take over 1 1/2 hrs to get here. Now I have to warm everything up. Not happy at all.
Always satisfied when I leave. Been eating there for 55 years. Never been disappointed.
I do go here for fast chinese food. They are great about letting me change the combos around to suit me. Large portions
Love the old school decor. Reminds me of the Christmas Story, lol. Food was good and the environment was welcoming.
Food is fantastic and fresh. Have not been here in over 15 years. Same food I remember as a kid. Prices are about $8 for lunch combos and $12 for dinner combos. Pineapple chicken is amazing, but so is most everything else. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere for lunch. Service was above average. Planning on going back soon for a family dinner.
Nice people and food is delicious!!
Glad opened back up. But had burnt egg roll. But will still eat there. Open for take outs only now
This place just has the feel of a great Chinese restaurant - big booths, low-light atmosphere and lots of food! We had a BBQ pork appetizer, very moist and a large serving. The drink prices were reasonable and fairly potent. We both ordered a $9.99 dinner that comes with four items and it was more than enough food. The egg flower soup that comes with the meal was the best I've ever tasted.
Where else can 35 people get a great meal? So many great dishes!
I get take out there and it's good quality at a reasonable price.
Very positive attitude, food very nutritious, loved the family pack menu.
A very authentic family ran business for 40 years now. Always really good food... Some of the best I've had and they deliver or cater your business lunches or dinners.. The lounge makes a good nice strong and tasty cocktail with pleasant conversation that makes you feel like you have been there before and you are missed.. Like part of a family gathering... Appetizers and gambling are available plus full menu in the lounge. Just all in all a great place to dine and visit with old friends with eats to match
Great food, comfortable atmosphere while dining with my friends. Our waitress was Very nice.
I love this place, huge servings, they deliver, tastes great!
Love eating here good food..
When I read all the negative reviews I was a bit nervous to give them a try. They waitress was friendly and helpful. The food very hot and fresh. The menus were clean as well as our table. The tea was excellent.
Great food good price
A lot of food and strong drinks
This has been a staple of Pasco since I can remember and hasn't changed much. I take my children here now. Yes, they have burgers and French fries for the kids. Great food, generous portions!
This is one of my favorite Chinese Restaurants in the Tri-cities. It has been for 4 generations of my family. The atmosphere is alright, but dark. Lots of seating available for large groups. The food is always fresh, hot, & served quickly. They only had one server, but she gave us fair service, would have liked to seen her a couple more times. She was friendly and went out of her way to give extra help making everyone happy. I did have to go get a tea cup that she forgot. I like the menu options to order for 2 or more. They make the best Almond Fried Chicken!
The menu was filthy as if no one had ever thought to wipe it down. The food was bland and all of the dishes tasted the same, no real distinction. Also, who serves Sam See Mein loose? It should be well fried and still in shape. Best thing was the tea. The atmosphere is nice though, so it’s a bummer the food was mediocre at best.
We had the best waitress but a little problem with the kitchen getting our order right but they fixed it right away. It was super fast service. The bbq pork came out when we were half way done with our soup... had barely finished that and our meal was there. So much food! Definitely will keep returning to the restaurant.
I love their food and the authentic restaurant atmosphere.
Great food and service!
Always love this place. It always fixes my almond chicken cravings!
Love this place, love that it’s so accommodating to vegetarians. Staff is absolutely wonderful and food is the best I’ve ever had.
It is a very nice restaurant but we had some difficulty getting a wheelchair between the cash register station and a wall. Once inside the dining area I was surprised at the spaciousness and cleanliness of it. The food was good and I was allowed to swap one food choice for another. The portions were pretty large but the prices were great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Bland bland bland. Ketchup cocktail sauce. Unprofessional bringing out entire bulk bottles of ketchup from the fridge for American food. No spice anywhere. Burnt fried rice. Nasty atmosphere
Best Chinese food in walla walla Washington and they deliver
My favorite egg flower soup of the entire world. I believe I can go and just have the soup. I have heard that the bbq pork that's served is amazing. People are so rude to the staff. This place is so romantic and elegant.
I am a Tri-Cities native so I’ve been eating here my whole life. My favorite memories are of my whole family going here together. Food quality hasn’t changed and I love it! Now my kids enjoy it too.
